APPROVED & SIGNED:  The FINAL Mitigation Bank Instrument (MBI) and FINAL Compensation Site Plan (CSP) for both KREYER CREEK WETLAND MITIGATION BANKS - EAST & WEST has obtained final approval and were signed on October 27, 2016.  The initial release of credits for sale has been authorized.  CONGRATULATIONS!

COMPLETED AUGUST 22, 2016Final Mitigation Bank Instrument (MBI) & Final Conservation Site Plan (CSP) for the Kreyer Creek Wetland Mitigation Banks (East & West) were submitted on August 22, 2016.

COMPLETED SUMMER 2016:  A wetland boundary delineation was completed on a 25 acre residential subdivision parcel in Portage County, WI on June 24, 2016.  It was determined that there was 7.23 acres of wetlands within this parcel.  A concurrence on the delineation was obtained from US ACOE on August 8, 2016.

COMPLETED SPRING 2016:  Draft Compensation Site Plan (CSP) and Draft Mitigation Bank Instrument (MBI) for the L.B. Palmer Family Mitigation Bank was submitted to the US Army Corp and IRT members for their review on May 16, 2016.

SUBMITTED 2016: Final Prospectus for the Council Creek Wetland Mitigation Property LLC Bank was submitted on February 16, 2016.  Public comment period ended May 6, 2016.

COMPLETED SUMMER 2015:  Wetland boundary delineation was conducted on an agricultural site in northern Clark County on October 11, 2015.  There were two intermittent streams bordering two sides of the property.  The owner was considering building a building in the upland area of the property.

COMPLETED 2015: The Council Creek Wetland Mitigation Property LLC DRAFT Prospectus was submitted to US ACOE on July 10, 2015.  Wetland boundary delineation for the site was conducted from September 19 to October 5, 2015.  The IRT visited the site on October 19, 2015.  A cross-section survey was conducted on all the surface drainage ditches in early November 2015.  The Final Prospectus was submitted in Winter 2016.  For more details about this mitigation bank project site, refer to the specific tab above.

COMPLETED 2015:  The L. B. Palmer Wetland Mitigation Bank DRAFT Prospectus was submitted to US ACOE on June 8, 2015. The IRT has visited the site on June 22, 2015. The FINAL Prospectus was submitted on September 1, 2015.  The public comment period ended November 9, 2015.  For additional details on this mitigation bank project site, refer to specific tab above.

CURRENT 2014-2016:  We are currently working with a group of partners to establish a new Wetland Mitigation Bank in Monroe County, WI.  The Final Prospectus for the Kreyer Creek Wetland Mitigation Bank site has been approved.  Currently the Mitigation Bank Instrument is being revised.  The site is approximately 226 acres.  There are plans for 6 different wetland communities.  4 acres of the upland buffer area are being set aside for Karner Blue Butterfly habitat.  Please see web page on this site for the new bank information.

COMPLETED October 2014: Wetland delineation and report for a sand mine operation in Chippewa County, near Bloomer, WI.  The wetland boundary was primarily along approximately 2647 feet of an intermittent stream corridor that flowed through pasture and cropland.

COMPLETED July 2014:  Wetland delineation and report for a wetland located on 8 acres located by Colgate, WI in Washington County, WI.  The wetland and it's drainage area were entirely forested.  US ACOE determined that they did have jurisdiction over this wetland based on findings in the report.

COMPLETED July 2014:  Wetland delineation and report for 2 man made wetlands on a commercial property site located in Onalaska, WI.  The larger seasonally ponded wetland had a drainage area of 34 acres and had been developing since 1995.  The smaller wetland was an excavated seasonally ponded wetland that could be seen on the 1939 aerial photos.

VOLUNTEERED July 2014:  Participated in a population survey of the Federally Endangered Species, the Eastern Prairie Fringed Orchid (Plantanthera leucophaea) in one area location in Wisconsin.  The location of the populations were mapped and site data was collected according to the Plants of Concern data form developed by the Chicago Botanic Garden in conjunction with the US F&WS.  Information was then submitted to WDNR, Natural Heritage Inventory.  Please notice the difference between these flower heads and the ones below of their larger "cousin", the Western Prairie Fringed Orchid that are shown at the bottom of this webpage.

COMPLETED June 2014:  Wetland boundary delineation and report on a 40 acre wooded wetland along a Stoney Creek on a farm located in Monroe County, WI.  The drainage area for the wetland was 840 acres of mostly managed cropland and some forested areas.

COMPLETED June 2014:  Wetland boundary delineation and report for a commercial site along a un-named creek stream within the city boundary of Stevens Point, WI.

COMPLETED May 2014:  Wetland boundary delineation and report on a 21 acre site located by Oxford, WI in Marquette County, WI.  Plans for the upland area of the property are enhancement of existing Oak Savannah, establishment of Karner Blue Butterfly habitat and a retirement homestead.

COMPLETED Fall 2013:  Wetland delineation and report on two sites on a property in Clark County, WI for sand company.  The wetland in Site #1 was on either side of a 4900 foot length of an intermittent stream.  The wetland in Site #2 was on either side of a 2760 foot length of an un-named stream.  Land use was predominantly cropland and pastureland.

COMPLETED Late Summer 2013:  Wetland delineation and report on a sand company project site in Trempealeau County, WI.  The wetland was bordered by 2 un-named streams with a total length of about 8240 feet.  Land use was a mix of cropland, woodland, and old pastureland.

COMPLETED Summer 2013:  Wetland delineation and report along a section of un-named stream for a sand company.  Project site was for a stream crossing.  Land use was cropland.

COMPLETED  Summer 2013:  Wetland delineation and report for a commercial expansion project in Wood County, WI.  Site contained two wetlands.

VOLUNTEERED Summer 2013:  Volunteered to conduct Western Prairie Fringed Orchid survey and mapping on one allotment for the US Forest Service on the Sheyenne National Grasslands in North Dakota.

COMPLETED Spring 2013:  Wetland delineation and report in Buffalo County, WI for a sand company.  Evaluated 5 areas.  4 areas needed delineation.  One are was found to have a calcareous fen.

COMPLETED Spring 2013:  Wetland delineation and report on a commercial property in response to a WDNR complaint about storm water discharges in to an existing wetland in Walworth County, WI.


COMPLETED Fall 2012:  Wetland boundary delineation on a potential commercial project site in Trempealeau County, WI with and intermittent stream and a drainage area of 122 acres.  Land use was continuously grazed pastureland.

COMPLETED Spring 2012:  Wetland delineation, report, and permit for a 19 acre commercial expansion site located in Waupaca, WI.  Site contained 4 different types of wetlands.

COMPLETED Summer 2012:  2012 Western Prairie Fringed Orchid Survey on the USFS Sheyenne National Grasslands in North Dakota.  Surveyed, mapped, and submitted Final Report to the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department on October 2012.  Area surveyed for the federally endangered wetland plant was approximately 5000 acres.
